The Franklin Police Department responded to 18 complaints over the past weekend and made the following arrests:
Joseph Thomas, 62, of Myra St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 22, 2024, at 8:24 PM, on the charge of aggravated second degree battery. Thomas was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
Barry Jackson, 43, of Seventh St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 23, 2024, at 5:15 PM, on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charges of illuminating devices required and driving under suspension. Jackson was booked, processed, and held on a $328.00 bond.
