Four years after Jacob Blake shooting, Blake’s family plans community block party [Video]

Four years ago, a Kenosha police officer shot a then 29-year-old Jacob Blake seven times.Cellphone video of the incident was seen by millions around the country — leading to days and weeks of protests.The moments captured on video on Aug. 23, 2020, still haunt Blake’s family four years later. “He fights through the pain every day to smile and embrace his children and keep moving forward,” said Justin Blake, Jacob Blake’s uncle.That day, Kenosha police officers responded to the area of 40th Street and 28th Avenue for reports of an argument involving Blake.
