The Parade route went from Gresham Middle School to Central High School.
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Christmas time is almost here, and for the first time in years, the Fountain City community hosted a parade to ring in the season.
“The Fountain City Christmas Parade has been a staple for a long, long time but it took a break. Just kind of due to logistics as the communities have been expanding and Broadway, there’s just a lot going on in this area of town,” said Executive pastor at Fountain City Church, David Williams. “But, you know, we just really wanted to help the community feel like a home again. You know, just help people come together, especially after the pandemic, things like this I think we took for granted beforehand.”
Fountain City church is one of the main groups getting the parade off of the ground.
