Former champs, PGA pros, NHL player part of loaded field at 2024 KCC Invitational [Video]

KALAMAZOO, MI – The 71st installment of the Kalamazoo Country Club Invitational is officially teed up, off and running.

One of the most storied amateur golf tournaments with history dating back to the 1950s, the three-day tournament began at 8 a.m. Wednesday morning and once again has 32 teams competing for the first-place trophy.

“We’re just happy to have everyone back in Kalamazoo,” said Mac Ward, KCC’s director of membership and marketing. “We invite golf enthusiasts and community members to join us for what promises to be an unforgettable event.”

The 64 competitors were able to select their own partners for the match-play tournament, and the player with the best score in each hole will count that number toward his team’s total.

Rounds 2 and 3 of the championship flight will be held on Friday and Saturday, with the semifinals commence at 7 a.m. on Saturday and the championship finals …
