MOUNT PLEASANT, Michigan — A former quarterback for the Central Michigan University football team has died.
According to his obituary, Tommy Lazzaro died in a hunting accident on Sunday, Dec. 22. He was 27 years old.
Lazzaro is originally from Monument, Colorado, where he previously went to Dodge City Community College. He played four seasons for the Chippewas.
He graduated in Dec. of 2019 and then served in the U.S. Army, where he earned the rank of sergeant.
