Flight delays, other issues in NE Ohio in tech outage [Video]

CLEVELAND (AP/WJW) – Cleveland Hopkins International Airport is seeing ongoing issues Friday following a widespread technology outage impacting airports, banks and media outlets.

Cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike said that the issue believed to be behind the outage was not a security incident or cyberattack. The issue affected Microsoft 365 apps and services, and escalating disruptions continued hours after the technology company said it was gradually fixing it.

According to FlightAware, Hopkins has seen 120 delays so far Friday and 43 cancellations.
