The child, who Sandy Springs police said was reported missing, was discovered just before 9 a.m. on Friday after they searched the area.

Christina Peterson, a probate court judge, was taken into custody at the Red Martini Restaurant and Lounge off Peachtree Road NE on Thursday.

Maria Gomez-Perez was last seen on May 29 at her home on Westside Drive in Gainesville.

Christina Peterson’s charges include simple battery against a police officer and felony willful obstruction of law enforcement by use of threats of violence.
