CHARLOTTE — Charlotte-based Abacus Capital has kicked off the first phase of a mixed-use project in NoDa.
The firm, in partnership with Charlotte developer CapRock and Florida investment firm S2K Management, has broken ground on a 350-unit multifamily development at the corner of Greensboro Street and East Sugar Creek Road.
The seven-story, wrap-around building will have studio, one- and two-bedroom units. The first units are expected to open in late 2026, with full delivery in the first quarter of 2027.
Mason Ellerbe, partner at Abacus Capital, said the units will range from about 500 to 1,000 square feet.
