First Alert Forecast – Scattered storms today, some could be severe [Video]

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – Today for this First Alert Weather Day, several rounds of thunderstorms will roll through the region. If you recall the weather on Wednesday, that is pretty much what we can expect today. There is a risk of damaging wind gusts, localized flooding, and possibly a spin-up (short lived) tornado. If you are planning to head to any outdoor events today, just make sure you keep an eye on the radar in case of a scattered thunderstorm in your region. There is no say in who will get a thunderstorm at a specific time, so just be cautious today. Todays high temperatures will reach the low 90s.

For tomorrow, there is a very low risk of 1-2 thunderstorms becoming severe as we go through the day. We are not under a First Alert Weather Day for Sunday. Temperatures will reach the low 90s again on Sunday.
