Fire marshal responds to Geauga County house fire [Video]

MUNSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WJW) — Geauga County firefighter crews responded to a fire at a township home on Friday.

Chardon firefighters just before 5 p.m. on social media reported a mutual aid response to a home in the 11000 block of Auburn Road. That’s near the Wexford Road intersection.

They found a working fire, with heavy smoke coming from the home’s attic and soffits, and reported at least one victim.

The State Fire Marshal’s Office is on scene, as is a Geauga County fire investigator, according to a FOX 8 crew at the scene.
