LEXINGTON, N.C. — A fire broke out at a residential home on W 13th Street in Lexington on Monday night, according to the Lexington Fire Department.
A press release said firefighters responded to the home just before 7 p.m. and found a single-story home “with smoke and flames coming from the rear.” It took around 30 minutes for crews to get the blaze under control. The Lexington Fire Department said it was still investigating the cause of the fire.
Officials said two adults and two children lived in the home, but they were able to get out unharmed before firefighters arrived at the scene. There were no injuries to any fire personnel.
