Festival of Love united the community through faith and hip hop [Video]

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The first annual Festival of Love wrapped up at Water’s Edge Park on Saturday. 

The event was all about getting together, spreading love and uniting the community with positive alternatives to street life through hip hop.

There was food, giveaways and haircuts given out for free. 

It was a big turnout and was also a good way for the community to become more involved in church activities.

“When I saw the people come out, it was just so lovely to help those that are unfortunate. Those who show those that are going through something that they’re not alone,” said Team Jesus Ministry pastor Pete Garza.
