The events are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. from Dec. 10 to Dec. 12.
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture are joining the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency (TEMA) to host farmer recovery centers.
From Dec. 10 to Dec. 12, farmers, farm workers, and agricultural businesses will receive information on programs and resources that support farm recovery. State and local agencies will also participate.
According to FEMA, survivors in Carter, Cocke, Greene, Hamblen, Hawkins, Johnson, Unicoi and Washington counties will meet with agency representatives in one-on-one sessions for information on housing and farm repairs and strategies to prepare homes and businesses against disasters. There will also be information on reimbursement for disaster-damaged tools, supplies and equipment.
