FEMA Opens disaster recovery center in Nacogdoches [Video]

NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KETK) – The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) opened a disaster recovery center in Nacogdoches for community members to seek aid from early summer storms and Hurricane Beryl.

According to the FEMA, the office is located at the Nacogdoches County Exposition and Civic Center on 3805 NW Stallings Drive in Nacogdoches and will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

FEMA said that their staff and staff from the Small Business Administration will be at the location to assist residents from the following counties that were impacted by storms from April 26 through June 6 and Tropical Storm Beryl:

FEMA said that appointments are necessary but applications can be submitted on FEMA’s website, or their app. Additionally, FEMA has a helpline that can be called at 800-621-3362.
