The agency is hosting an event Wednesday in Greenfield where preservation specialists will show families how to safely clean photos, books, documents, and clothing. Attendees are asked to take digital photos of the items they need help with cleaning and restoring and bring them along but leave the items themselves at home to avoid risking more damage to them in transit.

Specialists will be on hand from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Nodaway Valley Elementary School on Wednesday.
