FEMA closing Cuba in-person disaster recovery center [Video]

FULTON COUNTY (25News Now) – The disaster recovery center in Cuba is one of four that will no longer offer in-person services starting Friday.

According to the Illinois Emergency Management Agency and Office of Homeland Security, on Friday at 7 p.m., the Cuba Community Center will close, meaning in-person services will not be available.

Residents will still be able to apply for assistance, update application information, or speak with a FEMA specialist over the phone by calling 800-621-3362, or by visiting the government’s disaster assistance website.
