FEMA addresses common misconceptions about filing a claim [Video]

The Federal Emergency Management Agency has opened another disaster recovery center in the Upstate. From Monday through Thursday, FEMA representatives will be at the Anderson County Library from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. to assist anyone eligible with filing a claim. “If you need to scan documents into your case, if you need to file an appeal letter, all of the processes, you can do it here in one stop shop,” FEMA media specialist Gabriel Gonzalez said. He also said you do not have to live in the county to seek help at one of the disaster relief centers.
