Clay Rogers said they look at each small improvement with hope. The community showed up for the family with cards, gifts and essential items for the holidays.
KENT CITY, Mich. — “We’ve seen more improvements in the last month than we’ve seen in the last 553 days,” said Clay Rogers, father of now 19-year-old Colin Rogers.
Inside the living room of their Kent City home, Colin laid in his medical bed, surrounded by cards and items necessary for his care that were sent by community members.
“It gives me chills. It really does, because me as a person, before this happened, I wouldn’t have never imagined how people would be,” said Clay.
