Father of Lucy Nash shares details about the condition that caused her sudden death | Kentucky [Video]

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEVV) — The father of Lucy Nash, the young girl who passed away after collapsing during recess, is revealing more details into what happened.

Ryan Nash posted on social media saying, Lucy had an abnormal gene that caused issues with her cardiac rhythm.

He said no one was aware of the condition until it was too late.

Nash went on to say, the family was thankful for the community outreach that raised over $50,000.

He also says, the Indiana Donor Network told him Lucy’s kidneys save two women, while her liver went to another young girl in need.
