FANS praised plans for a revamped LOITV as a “step in the right direction”.
The League of Ireland has teamed up with Premier Sports to deliver an improved streaming service from next season.
The partnership will see the broadcaster launch a platform for LOITV which will allow fans to access the service through a range of apps.
LOITV will be available on Android TV, LG TV, Fire TV, Sony, Hisense, apps for mobile and tablet on both Apple and Android, and on Desktop, Chromecast and AirPlay.
A new subscription model with annual, monthly and 24-hour passes for the over-the-top product will be launched in the run-up to the 2025 campaign.
