A family in Illinois welcomed a mail carrier and his family to join them for a very special Thanksgiving celebration.

The fire- discovered late Tuesday night- could smolder for days, hampering the investigative process.

Christopher Collings was executed at a Missouri state prison Tuesday for the sexual assault and murder of a 9-year-old girl in 2007.
