With just hours left for the 2024 US Election Day, a new image is is doing the rounds on social media that claims that CNN broadcast a “key race alert” showing that U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris was ahead of former President Donald Trump by six points in Texas, a state that has traditionally been won by Republican presidential candidates.
Social media users have since been left confused, with many trying to find out the authenticity of the image. However, the image is fake and the claim is fabricated. Even CNN has confirmed that the image and the claim are fake and that it has not broadcast any such alert.
