SPOKANE, Wash. — The 4 News Now Extreme Team is helping to transform the lobby of the Northeast Community Center into a classroom/coffee shop to provide hands-on training in the areas of basic employment, cash handling and customer service skills.
This experience will be enhanced by access to programs and services housed within the community center to address immediate needs like medical and dental care, housing, utility assistance and other programs and services.
This program is dedicated to providing at-risk youth aged 16-24 in the Northeast Neighborhoods of Spokane a low-barrier, secular program designed to build their skills and self-esteem, and, transition into a successful employment while addressing other immediate basic needs.
