Expo to connect Hermits Peak Calf Canyon wildfire victims with contractors [Video]

LAS VEGAS, N.M. (KRQE) – The New Mexico Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management will host an expo on state-licensed contractors on August 3. The department will host Contractor Connects which is a community repair and rebuilding expo.

Two historic NM restaurants get $50K grant to upgrade, grow businesses

It’s aimed at connecting residents affected by the Hermits Peak Calf Caynon Fire to state-licensed contractors. Residents will be able to hear about available services and take the first steps to rebuild and repair their properties. Contractors will also be available for flood cleanup.

The expo will be held at Las Vegas High School on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
