The U.S. has imposed steep tariff increases on imports of some Chinese goods, including a 100-percent duty on its electric vehicles (EVs). John Gong, vice president of research and strategy at the University of International Business and Economics in Israel, says the tariff hikes may have a limited impact on Chinese EV exports.
