GREENSBORO, N.C. — Topgolf could be just the beginning of development off I-40. 

We got our hands on planning documents submitted to the city of Greensboro by Realty Link. 

Greensboro’s new high-tech golfing range is already drawing people like Justin Black in from surrounding cities. 

“We were excited.  It’s nothing but a 30-minute ride for us,” Black said. “We’re from Burlington.” 

Black decided to celebrate his 44th birthday at Top Golf. 

 “It’s new we like golfing.  We wanted to get out and have a good time,” Black shared. 

Wednesday was Kevin Murriell’s first time at Topgolf. 

“I just moved here to Greensboro. There is potential here,” Murriell said. “So I think Topgolf Is something that brings more people here.”

The city plans to capitalize off Topgolf making Greensboro its 4th home in North Carolina.
