As social media erupted with mixed reactions following Stonebwoy’s removal from the NDC’s victory concert lineup, the dancehall musician has taken to social media to share a cryptic message.
The BHIM Nation leader, who often refers to himself as “the Torcher,” posted a Bible verse for his fans that read, “From the TORCHER to BHIMNATION. Exodus 14:13.”
Exodus 14:13 reads: “And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will show to you today: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more forever.”
This cryptic post comes after it was disclosed in an official statement from the concert’s organising team that Stonebwoy’s removal was due to pressure from grassroots supporters within the NDC.
Some of these supporters reportedly raised concerns over Stonebwoy’s alleged ties to the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), which led to his exclusion.
