On the day that Donald Trump was sworn in as the 47th President of the United States, he signed a flurry of executive orders that included action on immigration, TikTok, and the ‘weaponization’ of government.He signed several orders that pertained to Alaska, including an order titled “Unleashing American Energy,” which revokes 12 Biden-era clean energy initiatives and encourages the development of domestic energy resources. Also, a section of the executive order titled “Restoring Names that Honor American Greatness,” calls for Denali to be renamed Mt. McKinley in honor of the 25th President of the United States.
