Liam Payne and Kate Cassidy had their first date in September 2002 and she was with him two days before he died after falling from his hotel balcony in Buenos Aires Argentina in October 2024, according to reports by Page Six.
In September 2023, Cassidy shared a video on TikTok detailing the first time she met Payne at a Charleston, South Carolina, bar where she was working in September 2022. In the post, she revealed that she was dreading the idea of working her shift until she got a text from her manager telling her Payne was at the bar and that she would be helping him.
