Originally introduced in Indonesia, Epson’s ink tank printers have been adopted, and are now sold in 170 countries and regions worldwide. Today, Seiko Epson Corporation has achieved a significant milestone with cumulative global sales of Epson’s high-capacity ink tank printers, surpassing 100 million units since the launch of EcoTank in 2010.

“High-capacity ink tank printers are fundamentally different from traditional cartridge models, and we faced many challenges in developing them,” said Noelle Gonzalez, Marketing Division Head at Epson Philippines. “But we persisted, driven by the desire to help customers print without hesitation by delivering a printer that provided minimal hassle, lower costs, and a reduced environmental impact.
