ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDHN) – Enterprise State Community College had something special to celebrate Wednesday afternoon.
Community members, local officials, and school leadership gathered as ESCC unveiled their new Workforce Technology Center and held a ceremonial groundbreaking.
The new facility will offer automotive technology, mechatronics, welding, and other manufacturing-related trades.
Those celebrating the college’s new addition included ESCC President Danny Long, Alabama Community College System Chancellor Jimmy Baker, Alabama State Senator Josh Carnley, Enterprise Mayor William Cooper, and Senator Katie Britt.
They all spoke of the importance of the new facility, adding it will help train students, equip them with the skills they need, and boost The Wiregrass’s economy.
