After reviewing its creative ad account in September last year, Scotland’s other national drink has decided to part with its agency of almost 30 years, heading south of the border as Lucky Generals takes over.
Since 1994, Edinburgh-based advertising agency Leith has produced some of Irn-Bru’s most memorable commercials, including ‘Fanny,’ ‘The Snowman’ and ‘Electric Lady.’
Under adman Gerry Farrell, who left Leith in 2014, the ads were entertaining, sometimes controversial, and relied on the dry Scottish humor that has become synonymous with the AG Barr-owned brand and which has earned the agency many accolades at The Drum Awards over the years.
