ELIZABETHTOWN, N.C. (WECT) – Elizabethtown residents have been invited to two public meetings during December to provide input on the community’s future.
Town officials will review the safety concerns and countermeasures identified under the Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Safety Action Plan on Dec. 12.
The plan addresses transportation-related safety concerns by creating projects that will be used in the future to pursue federal grant monies.
Staff will inform locals of areas identified as safety concerns and the draft proposed safety countermeasures by using data collected during the first public meeting as well as an online mapping tool and interviews with service providers.
A presentation will take place from 6-8 p.m. at the Town Council Chamber and the public can discuss with the consulting team to help with project corridor prioritization.
You can submit comments online here or by email.
The town is also organizing a town workshop that will require registration called A Blueprint …
