Whether it’s a new pencil pouch or a new backpack, it’s the little things that can make students feel special and ready to learn.
A church in Milledgeville helped students feel fresh and parents save money with their swag conference.
“It gives us an opportunity to be able to give back to the community as well so we’re using this event in conjunction with being able to give back school supplies, bookbags, just anything the students need to be able to go back to school and start the school year,” pastor Julius Trawick said.
The more than 230 kids registered got more than just supplies. They received other tools they can use in the classroom.
