Engineering firm Egis has announced the appointment of Andrew Doyle as its new Country Director for Transportation and Martin Hogan as Chief Business Officer.
In his new role, Doyle will have responsibility for the company’s full transportation business in Ireland.
He will also be advising on designing and construction supervision for heavy and light rail, bus, tram and cycleways projects in addition to other infrastructure such as roads and bridges.
Egis in Ireland is part of the French-headquartered Egis Group, a global architecture, consulting, construction engineering and operating firm.
In Ireland, the company provides a range of engineering services to clients including Transport Infrastructure Ireland, Iarnród Eireann (Irish Rail) and local authorities in addition to private contractors.
The company’s flagship projects in Ireland include the design and build engineering of the N22 Baile Bhuirne to Macroom road and the preliminary design and planning of the Luas extension to Finglas.
