The Saatchi & Saatchi spot, ‘Battle Stations,’ is set to Underworld’s Cowgirl tune.
EE wants to strengthen its position as a go-to place for gaming kits with its latest ad, which immerses viewers in the heart of being a gamer.
The film features social media influencers Danny Aarons and Imangelikaa, moving between each gamer’s unique setup as they get into the zone. Their styles come to life, transforming everyday spaces into customized “battle stations” that reflect each player’s personality.
The distinctly British soundtrack follows recent EE spots that have paired with standout tracks such as The Pet Shop Boys’ Left to My Own Devices and Echo and The Bunnymen’s The Killing Moon.
“Having the right kit can make or break a gamer’s experience, and what makes the ideal gaming setup, is as unique as the players themselves,” said Pete Jeavons, marketing communications director at EE.
