When Nick Tulloch and Mike Whitlow took over the reins of ECR Minerals in September 2023, they inherited a junior explorer that was much loved and had much frustrated in equal measure.
Tulloch was known then primarily as CEO and founder of wellness and health business Voyager Life ,and Whitlow for his advocacy of retail investor rights and his loathing of ‘bad apple plcs’ robbing mum and pop of their retirement funds.
They had their own reputations to preserve as well as that of ECR Minerals which had a parcel of attractive prospects, but had been accused of spreading itself too thin across a wide portfolio with an ad hoc and bitty approach to exploration.
