EastEnders fans are obsessed after spotting on-set disaster | Soaps [Video]

An eagle-eyed EastEnders fan has spotted something seriously wrong with Patrick (Rudolph Walker) and Yolande Trueman’s (Angela Wynter) kitchen – and it’s sent social media into a frenzy!

The set forms part of the long-running BBC One soap’s £87m production base in Elstree, Hertfordshire.

As with every soap opera backlot, the majority of interior scenes aren’t actually filmed in their exterior counterparts, but in a nearby studio.

No. 20 Albert Square is the former bed and breakfast, and home to Patrick and Yolande, and their family friends Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) and Howie Danes (Delroy Atkinson) plus their children Denzel (Jaden Ladega), Pearl and Mica.

Seems pretty hectic!

We’ve seen quite a lot of their home over the past few months, firstly through Denzel’s steroid addiction, and most recently through tragic scenes that saw Yolande confide in Patrick about Pastor Clayton (Howard Saddler) sexually abusing her.

As well as the living room, hallway, downstairs …
