Users will now be able to customise their games as they play.
Electronic Arts (EA) is taking the gaming and AI scene seriously. Recently, Mihir Vaidya, chief strategy officer of EA, shared a glimpse into the future of gaming and user generated games (UGX), illustrating a pathway from ‘Imagination to Creation.’
The concept video showcased during the presentation demonstrated the company’s approach where players can seamlessly create expansive gaming worlds without any coding expertise, using only natural language. For example, they can create more characters, obstacles, level up or design their own weapon by simple natural language prompts.
In the demonstration video, two players were seen transforming simple cardboard boxes into complex, multi-level game worlds. It included characters, weapons and gameplay mechanics in real time.
