SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) – Darin Simpson is the principal of Dugger Union Community Schools. He has always dreamt of being a sports broadcaster. On Monday, Simpson made a video of himself and posted it on Facebook.
In his video, he talks about how wherever you are in life, it is never too late to go after your aspirations.
“It is not too late,” Simpson said. “Whether it’s me trying to do sports broadcasting or someone trying to go back to school.”
In just a few days, his video received a lot of traction online, gaining over 34,000 views and nearly 300 shares of people trying to help Simpson make his dream come true. Simpson says he didn’t expect much to come of his video, but he hopes, if anything, it will inspire his students.
