Community Rallies to Bring Beloved Maggie Home from Tenerife
Ringsend, Dublin – A heartwarming story of community support is unfolding in Ringsend, Dublin, as residents rally around Margaret “Maggie” Kavanagh, a beloved local who fell seriously ill while on holiday in Tenerife. Maggie, who has Down syndrome and asthma, developed pneumonia, and her condition deteriorated rapidly. While her family had travel insurance, they were devastated to learn it wouldn’t cover the cost of an air ambulance to bring her home.
