SPOKANE, Wash. — Downtown Spokane has been decorating for the holidays in anticipation of a very special guest.
Santa Claus is making his seasonal debut at River Park Square this Saturday! There are 100,000 lights twinkling on Post Street to celebrate the big jolly man’s arrival.
The merry and magical lane runs from Main Street to the railroad tracks. It came to life through a collaboration between the Downtown Spokane Partnership (DSP) and Visit Spokane to bring a little extra cheer to the community this time of year.
“We want to make sure that everyone gets an opportunity to enjoy them as well as like gloomy season that tends to come right after the new year,” said Downtown Spokane Partnership’s Elisabeth Hooker.
