Downtown Sioux Falls Winter Crazy Days underway [Video]

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – Even with the cold weather, downtown Sioux Falls is the place to be for shopping over the holiday weekend with this year’s Winter Crazy Days.

Participating businesses are offering many deals to attract customers downtown to visit shops, boutiques, retail stores, and more.

Along with other promotions this month, including Burger Battle, the goal is to help drive traffic to downtown businesses in January.

For some stores, that means bringing in customers who have never visited them before.

“When we have these big events downtown, I feel like it draws in a lot more people. A lot of people can explain and see everything downtown. A lot of people don’t know a lot of boutiques downtown, and so it just draws everybody in,” said Alivia Cable, an employee of Mint + Basil.
