FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – During Tuesday’s meeting, the Downtown Fargo Business Improvement District (BID) presented an overview of its operations in 2024.
Last year, BID and its team of Downtown ambassadors removed 800 incidences of graffiti. They disinfected 6,896 pieces of infrastructure, including benches, crosswalk buttons, and trashcan lids. The BID team also completed 500 hours of snow removal and collected 14,175 pounds of recycling and 91,375 pounds of trash. The Business Improvement District works to enhance the overall attractiveness and appeal of Downtown Fargo by ensuring the neighborhood is clean, safe, maintained, and properly promoted.
- Event promotion and management
- A new staffing plan/model that utilizes an outside vendor
- Food and beverage services/management
- A long-term operating agreement that encourages the promotion of new events that will increase the vitality and visibility of the Civic Center to the greater metropolitan community
