SIOUX CENTER, Iowa — Dr. Brandon Huisman has been appointed vice president of advancement and marketing at Dordt University, and Greg Van Dyke will serve as vice president of enrollment, the college announced this week.
Vice President of Advancement John Baas is stepping back from his role due to ongoing health concerns, “with the university community’s full support and deep gratitude for his years of dedicated service,” Dordt said in its announcement. While he focuses on his health, Baas is moving into a new role as a senior development officer.
Baas has been Dordt’s vice president of advancement for nearly 20 years.
Huisman has served as vice president for enrollment and marketing at Dordt for more than six years.
Van Dyke, Dordt’s director of admissions, has worked in Dordt’s admissions office for more than 20 years and has seen four straight years of record enrollment.
