Donate supplies at Lauderdale County fire stations to help those affected by flooding in Tennessee | News [Video]

If you are looking for a way to help those affected by Hurricane Helene locally, you can donate supplies to fire stations across Lauderdale County.

The Lauderdale County Association of Volunteer Fire Departments says they are working with the Florence/Lauderdale Emergency Management Agency and Florence Fire & Rescue to take up donations of supplies to be taken and distributed to members of the communities affected by floods in East Tennessee.

Officials are asking for donations of the following items:

1. Buckets with lids

2. Bottled water

3. Non-perishable food

You can drop items off at any of the five Florence Fire stations during normal business hours or any of the 14 Lauderdale County Volunteer Fire departments this week, from Monday through Saturday.

If you choose to drop items off at a Lauderdale County Volunteer department, try to contact them first and coordinate a time because these stations are not staffed 24/7. If no one is there, please do not place items in front of bay doors.
