FORMER President Donald Trump has doubled down on claims he was involved in a near-fatal helicopter ride with former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown.

Trump retold the tale of almost dying on a helicopter with Brown in a press conference on Thursday, despite the latter saying he has never shared a helicopter with the Republican nominee.

“I know Willie Brown very well,” Trump said about the alleged incident.

“In fact, I went down in a helicopter with him.

“We thought maybe this was the end.”

“We were in a helicopter, going to a certain location together, and there was an emergency landing.

“This was not a pleasant landing.”
