Don Lemon Sues Elon Musk over Canceled X Deal [Video]

Four months after Don Lemon announced that his streaming deal with Elon Musk‘s social media platform X had soured, the former CNN journalist is suing the tech mogul.

On Thursday, Aug. 1, attorneys for Lemon, 58, announced that they had filed a complaint against Musk and X (formerly Twitter) in the County of San Francisco.

The lawsuit claims that Musk and his social media platform — which he purchased a majority stake in back in April 2022 — committed fraud and breach of contract, misappropriated Lemon’s name and likeness and became “unjustly enriched” when the platform kept the money made from Lemon’s videos and posts, among other allegations.

Lemon announced in January that he had partnered with Musk to create and promote The Don Lemon Show, which would facilitate “honest debate and discussion without the hall monitors” and premiere exclusively on X.
