(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Dolton Mayor Tiffany Henyard, who also serves as Thornton Township Supervisor, had a lot to say Tuesday night. She’s facing power struggles with trustees on both boards, an investigation into spending, eviction from her rented home and re-election campaigns.
Henyard was live on social media for 90 minutes. Where she aired grievances and listed accomplishments, including “moving mountains”.
She also called out trustees who don’t show up for meetings. Calling them “corrupt” and “snakes”.
“Y’all know this is a smear campaign right? That’s what they do with people they cannot control. Let’s get rid of corruption together, but let’s start with my board. I’m talking about my board over there in the Village of Dolton, and I’m also talking about my board here in Thornton Township. And when I come out, I come out swinging.”
