Dolphins coach gives update on receiver Grant DuBose who was hospitalized [Video]

HOUSTON — Miami Dolphins receiver Grant DuBose is set to head home Wednesday after spending the last few days in a Houston hospital following Sunday’s game at NRG Stadium. Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel gave an update during a press conference earlier in the day.

“We’re all excited to get to see him,” McDaniel said. DuBose was also placed on Injured Reserve. Players placed on this list are required to miss four games thus ending the receiver’s season with just three games left.

DuBose was hospitalized following an injury during Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans.

On Monday, Dolphins team officials said DuBose was staying at the hospital for evaluation. They reported that he had movement in all extremities, and initial tests revealed positive results on Monday morning.
